Accumulator Tips – 26-27 January
This weekend our free football tips come from England and Germany, as we bank on the FA Cup holders to come out fighting after their exit from the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
We’re also backing a win for Arsenal on the south coast and Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund to carry on their recent goalscoring form on Friday night.
Priced at 5.20, our football accumulator tips treble provides solid value, if you’re betting on the football this weekend.
Borussia Dortmund (1.18) v Nurnberg (15.00); Draw (6.50)
German champions Borussia Dortmund will be full of confidence going into Friday’s game after a 5-0 victory away at Werder Bremen last time out.
Die Schwarzgelben are the second highest scorers in the Bundesliga and Jurgen Klopp’s forward line has again been led well by Poland international Robert Lewandowski. The support play of Jakub Blaszczykowski has been crucial from out wide, but it’s Germany internationals Mario Gotze and Marco Reus who have been the stars for Dortmund this season.
Opponents Nurnberg are generally well set up by manager Michael Wiesinger, but a lack of goals has stifled der Club this season. Nurnberg seem to have overcome their dismal run of results in the autumn, but the trip to the Westfalanstadion will not be one the relegation candidates will look forward to.
Borussia Dortmund are undefeated in 35 of their last 38 matches in the Bundesliga and Klopp’s free-scoring side should clear the handicap against shot-shy Nurnberg on Friday night.

Borussia Dortmund -1.5 Asian Handicap @1.70
Brighton (5.50) v Arsenal (1.70); Draw (4.00)
Arsenal’s domestic cup policy has shifted this season and the teams that the Gunners have put out in both the FA Cup and Capital One Cup have been consistently strong.
Arsenal scored four goals against West Ham in the second half on Wednesday and it was their spell 20 minutes before the final whistle that overcame surprise package Swansea in the last round of the FA Cup.
Opponents Brighton will be hopeful of making the playoffs this season, with Gus Poyet’s side advocates of a posession based football. The Seagulls knocked out Newcastle in the last round of the FA Cup, but a number of individual mistakes have slipped into the side since then.
The FA Cup is Arsenal’s most realistic chance of silverware this season and the in-form Gunners should have the beating of their Championship opponents on Saturday.
Accumulator Bet 2
Arsenal to win @1.70
Brentford (12.00) v Chelsea (1.28); Draw (6.00)
Rafa Benitez’s squad selection in the last round, highlighted the importance of the FA Cup for Chelsea this season and the Blues will be desperate to record an emphatic win after a lacklustre performance on Wednesday night in the Capital One Cup.
Chelsea have a fine record in the FA Cup and are undefeated in 24 matches, whilst the Blues have scored two or more goals in each of the last five games in this competition.
Hosts Brentford look on course for a playoff place in League One this season, but the Bees have won just once in the league so far since the turn of the year.
Brentford overcame League Two’s Southend in the last round of the FA Cup, but Uwe Rosler’s main aim remains promotion to the Championship.
Chelsea have hit some big scores over the last two months and the chances of a reaction from the European champions on Sunday seems high.
Accumulator Bet 3
Chelsea -1.5 Asian Handicap @1.80
Betting Accumulator Odds – 5.20 (Arsenal to win and both Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund to win by 2 goals or more)
