Premier League Fantasy Football Tips – Gameweek 30
Gameweek 30 Fantasy Football Tips
GW30 (from): Foster, Vorm, Sagna, Kelly, Evans, Caulker, Ridgewell, Walcott, Young, Gerrard, Sigurdsson, Silva, Rooney, Van Persie, Suarez
Robin Van Persie (ARS)
Van Persie’s assist last time out against Everton means the Dutch forward has now had a hand in 36 goals in the league for Arsenal this season. The runaway leader for the Premier League Golden Boot with 26 goals, Van Persie remains six goals clear of Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney. Van Persie picked up a goal, assist and three bonus points the last time Arsenal met Gameweek 30 opponents Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Wayne Rooney (MUN)
More than half of Rooney’s 20 goals this season have come at Old Trafford and the visitors this week are Fulham. Rooney picked up an assist last time out in the 5-0 victory over Wolves at Molineux and the return of Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia along with Ashley Young will likely provide further opportunities for the former Everton striker to add to his 20 Premier League goals. Rooney scored and picked up a bonus point when Manchester United last met Fulham in Gameweek 17.
Steven Gerrard (LIV)
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard scored a hat-trick when Liverpool last played at Anfield in a 3-0 victory over rivals Everton and all five of the England midfielder’s goals in the league have come in front of the Kop. Opponents Wigan have conceded more than two goals a game away from the DW Stadium and have only kept one clean sheet on the road all season. The link-up with Uruguayan Luis Suarez may be evident again on Saturday.
Fantasy Football Transfers
Gylfi Sigurdsson (SWA) – £5.3m
Swansea’s on-loan Icelandic midfielder has been a revelation for Brendan Rogers since his arrival in January. Sigurdsson has now scored five goals including four goals along with five bonus points in his last three games for the Swans. Sigurdsson and Swansea meet Everton at the Liberty Stadium in Gameweek 30.
Antonio Valencia (MUN) – £7.7m
Manchester United’s Ecuadorian winger picked up 16 fantasy points during Gameweek 29 with a goal, two assists and a further two bonus points. Valencia has recently returned from injury and has now picked up 12 assists so far this campaign. Valencia was also in contributing form last time Manchester United faced Fulham, with an assist in December.
