Premier League Football Betting Tips – Gameweek 15
Aston Villa kick off early Saturday against an out of form Arsenal side who are only 2 points of the joint leaders and Liverpool travel to the Capital to take on Spurs in the pick of this weekends ties.
West Brom are definitely on a slump and winger Chris Brunt is a doubt, whilst Everton almost have a virtually full strength squad for the first time this season with only Fellaini still serving suspension. One player who is bang in form is Everton’s Aussie midfielder Tim Cahill. Cahill has scored 5 goals in his last 8 appearance and amazing has scored 7 of Everton’s last 16 goals. Cahill to score anytime looks a good choice at 2.4. But Everton have lost only 4 of their last 25 Premiership games and have won in 5 of the last 8 meetings between the sides including the double in the 2008/2009 season and look a solid bet.
Everton to win @1.57
One of the most attractive games on paper this weekend is surprisingly Bolton v Blackpool. Bolton continue to attract plaudits for their style of play and are riding high in 5th purely on merit. Blackpool (many people’s certs for the rock bottom spot this season) play with such spirit and verve and really give it a go in most of their fixtures this season. Bolton have not kept a clean sheet since the opening game of the season and Blackpool have the worst defensive record in the Premiership. Bolton have scored 8 goals in their last 2 games and games involving Blackpool have seen 48 goals scored which is a 3.43 goals per match average. The over goals market has been a delight in Blackpool games this season and even the higher over 3.5 goals at 2.375 looks an attractive choice.
Over 2.5 goals (Bolton v Blackpool) @1.575
It’s always a risk betting on a team who are categorically rock bottom in any league approaching December, but there are stats and signs that West Ham could come away with all 3 points at Upton Park. Wigan have suspensions rolled over from the Man Utd match in the shape of Alcaraz but more importantly key striker Hugo Rodallega who has not missed a game this season for the Latics. West Ham have a strong head to head record having won 3 of the last 4 against a Wigan side who have won only 1 in 14 away games. Added to this West Ham welcome the return of Scott Parker and must see this as a game they have targeted to achieve maximum points.
West Ham to win @ 2.0
